“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela

Children have an innate passion for learning, but many struggle to reach their full potential because of obstacles like the inability to afford school supplies or the fees required to participate in extracurricular activities and programs. Ensuring children have access to full educational opportunities becomes even more challenging in years where traditional school schedules and teaching methods are interrupted due to quarantining and social distancing.

Barriers to education and youth development limit the potential of future generations, which does not just stunt the individual; it affects all of society. One of these children could go on to develop a new medicine, discover a groundbreaking treatment, or find the cure for an illness.

Ensuring children have the resources and skills to succeed in and out of school can be as simple as sharpening a pencil. Many CFC charities focus on increasing access to education and improving a child’s potential for success into the future through education and youth development programs. You can help children and young adults to achieve and exceed their goals by supporting the work of these charities through the campaign.
